Full-bodied but relatively soft in the mouth, this Chardonnay reminded me more of a creamy Alexander Valley Chardonnay than a crisper Russian River or Sonoma Coast Chardonnay. Peach and lemon fruit flavors along with butterscotch, vanilla, and roasted almonds. Nice range of flavors, but doesn't have quite the energy and punch of some other Zio Tony vintages I've had. Still drinking well at age 6, but no reason to hold any longer. - HK 2014-05-16
