The 2007 Russian River offering is in its drinkability sweet-spot at age 5, displaying a chewy texture, ripe blueberry and blackberry fruit, and notes of dried herbs and charcoal. Not nearly as deep, focused, or complex as its more expensive Novy single-vineyard siblings, but a super every day red.
