This Pinot Noir comes from a cool Eastside Road vineyard near the Russian River. It has lovely aromas and flavors of earthy, smoky dark cherry and plum fruit, with subtle undertones of cola, chocolate, pine resin, and toast. The wine has a Burgundian feel with its low alcohol level, elegance, leaner structure, and higher acid level, especially in the finish. Classy wine. - HK 2010-03-21
