Deep gold in color, with a dense, viscous appearance that reminded us of a heavy-duty Alsatian white. Concentrated in both aroma and flavor, the wine displays a complex mix of ripe white fruits, honey, caramel apples, herbs, and most prominently, dark-roasted cashews and sherry.
