| 1998 Renwood Zinfandel "Jack Rabbit Flat" Amador County, California WB Rating: 86 Alcohol by volume: 14.0% Price at time of purchase: $26.00 (Current Release) Type: Zinfandel Principal varietal(s): 100% Zinfandel Elegant, firmly structured Zinfandel that has some positive evolution ahead of it (and possibly a higher rating, too). Well balanced with a feel almost like a good, ageworthy Merlot, and some of the same rich cherry character of that wine.
