Ripe red fruits (cherry, raspberry) and an attractive floral note were found in this a medium-bodied, flavorful wine. Though not long or complex, this wine had satisfying richness. | [OW Holmes 2004-08-06] Sorry. I love Ridge. And as a rhone lover was prepared to love this one with nice quantities of rhone style grapes plus zin. Good floral nose to go with the blackberries, but there was a bitteness that I could not ignore. It hit me immediately, and now, an hour and a half later, I am tempted to pour out the remains of the bottle. Back to Geyserville and Lytton Springs for me, or Monte Bello. User Rating: 80. |
