Ponzo is now the only Russian River Zin that Ridge makes, more's the pity. I'd rate this one considerably behind the outstanding 2009, but it's still a tasty mouthful of Zin. Wild berry flavors with a touch of vanilla oak and spicy undercurrents. Medium-bodied, not especially intense or long, but nicely balanced and super easy going down. - HK 2013-12-06
