As in nearly all vintages of this wine, it's soft, silky, and ready to drink out of the gate. Ripe plum, raspberry and pomegranate fruit with a smokey background and nice touch of spicy oak. No hard edges here, excellent ripeness and grip in the mouth. No sign of the sharpness or lack of depth I've tasted in some other 2011 Zins. - HK 2015-01-28 [Back] |
