Ponzo is always a nicely balanced, clean, and pleasantly flavored Zin, but usually my least favorite of the Ridge main offerings. The 2014, though, seems to have a bit of extra fat and length. Lovely ripe berry fruit with a touch of kirsch and charcoal, some spicy and flowery aromas in the background. - HK 2016-10-18
