I would have identified this wine as a Carignane, not a Zin, but either way it's a big, meaty red with a strong personality. Dark berry and prune notes rest on a deep, dark core of licorice, chocolate, and dried herbs (mint? lavender?) Great texture and energy for a 7 year-old Zin. - HK 2023-04-01
