One of the best old Zins I've tasted, this wine, though soft, still had remarkable depth, balance and grip. Lots going on, with a complex earthy mix of cassis, coffee, black cherry, plums, and spicy cedar. Would probably hang in there another year or two, but I'd recommend drinking up now. - HK 2004-01-17
