In the latest tasting, the wine again seemed somewhat closed, unyielding, and uncharacteristic, especially in the nose, though the flavors showed some nice touches of classic Pinot cherry fruit along with cinammon-like spice, dried roses, and hints of strawberry jam and rhubarb pie.
