As much as I love Rochioli's wines in general, I've never been a huge fan of their "generic" estate Pinot Noir in terms of price/performance. The 2012 fits my stereotype - full-bodied, richly textured, straight-ahead Pinot with forward cherry aromas and not a lot of finesse or complexity. If this wine were half the price, I'd be singing its praises, but at $50 plus per bottle, it's overpriced. - HK 2015-11-28
