The 2005 ELlen's block is just entering its prime. From a vineyard just adjacent to the winery, this deep purple wine exhibits great focus and youthful energy. Nose and flavors of earthy black raspberry, dark currants, black cherry, roast beef, and licorice. Ripe and full in the mouth, still quite primary.
