My favorite Russian Hill Pinot to date: I even slightly prefer this vintage to the excellent 2007. Rich, deep, earthy Russian River Pinot character - predominantly black cherry fruit, with touches of red raspberry and strawberry. Beautifully perfumed aromas with a definite dose of dried rose petals. Outstanding balance and grip in the mouth, lovely fruit dominated finish. One of those Pinot's that reminds you how awesome this varietal can be when everything goes right. - HK 2013-08-09
