Another outstanding Estate Pinot from Russian Hill, and very fairly priced for the quality. Everything in harmony and balance, gracefully structured but with plenty of flavor authority. No harshness of heat despite the 14.8% alcohol. Dark cherry, blueberry, and red raspberry fruit with attractive nuances of cloves, vanilla, and red roses. Elegant and long, just a lovely wine from start to finish. - HK 2015-02-21
