| 2010 Seghesio Zinfandel Sonoma Sonoma County, California WB Rating: 87 Alcohol by volume: 14.8% Price at time of purchase: $19.98 (K&L) Type: Zinfandel Principal varietal(s): Not quite as full and fruity as in some of the warmer years, the 2010 Zinfandel Sonoma also has about half a percent less alcohol. Still fairly tight and rustic in texture, it shows some weedy, herbal, claret-like character along with the usual dose of black cherry and dark berry fruit, smoky oak, and subtle spiciness.
