One of the many excellent Siduri appellation wines, this Pinot was a steal when purchased at the winery during the Barrel Tasting Weekend. Good black cherry/raspberry fruit density accompanied by notes of dried flowers, smoke, and a Dr. Pepper-like spiciness. Nicely balanced and full, though a year or so additional age will probably round out the slight austeriy found in the texture.. - HK 2010-06-16
