This Cab came across as relatively austere and tannic in our tasting. Classic though somewhat muted nose of dark currants, cedar, and smoke, with a hint of underlying complexity. Medium body with reserved cassis and dark plum fruit, lots of tough tannin still residing in the finish. Possibly drunk at a closed stage, but we expected a bit more. - HK 2005-06-15
