Attractive, earthy nose of ripe plum/prune, dark cherry, and dark currant fruit along with distint hints of barbecue smoke and spice. In the mouth, rich in feel but relatively soft and unstructured. A bit more focus would give this wine a higher ranking, thought it's a most pleasant and drinkable Zin. - HK 2012-04-23
