| 2010 Terra da Vino Roero Arneis Barolo, Italy WB Rating: 86 Alcohol by volume: 12.5% Price at time of purchase: $12.75 (Shoprite, Trenton, NJ) Type: Italian White Principal varietal(s): Arneis Crisp, refreshing, uncomplicated white. Lively, bright nose of freshly mown grass and green melon. Clean, straight-ahead feel in the mouth. Excellent by itself or with food due to its balance of acid and fruit. I tried this "genuine" Italian Arneis because of how much I liked the Seghesio Russian River Arneis. This one isn't nearly as good, but it's still a really nice wine. - HK 2012-05-09 [Back] |
