This wine has opened up a lot in its latter years. Tasted several years ago, the rating for this wine did not break 80, and was described as extremely attenuated and tight. At present, the wine is considerably more open and flavorful, with tart cherry flavors and the usual Topolos earthy component. Pleasant wine, though the fairly forward berry nose promises more than the wine delivers in taste and length. - WB team 2003-03-25
