It's unfair to judge this wine 15 years after it was meant to be drunk, especially since in its prime it was one of our favorite reds, with Zin-like richness and huge amounts of sweet toasty oak. But it's also interesting to see what happens to some of these old standby's. A little amber in color now, a little dispirited in the attack, devoid of the tannin that could give it some clout - yet it was still a remarkably pleasant wine, with soft cedar-laced fruit and a respectable finish. - Winebork Team 2005-10-23
