This is an incredibly high quality, consistent Zin producer! This wine strikes us as perhaps a little less powerful than the '99, but is equally pleasurable. Rich plum fruit with a touch of ripe red currants caress the nose and mouth. The subtle spicy oak is gracefully integrated. Round, elegant mouth feel; long, satisfying finish. Delicious wine.
