A Cotes du Rhone from the Vignerons de Beaumes de Venise. Deeply colored, with a full mouth feel. Some spice on top of soft red fruits. But the nose is clipped and the flavors a bit short and lacking in complexity. Sort of like an OK Carignane. Good everyday red, but by no means memorable. - WB Team 2002-01-16
