Lean, steely, slightly chalky mouth feel reminded me of Sancerre. Subtle flavor profile suggestive of lemon, melon, yeast, with a strong mineral-tinged backbone and finish. This is a good Chardonnay in an austere style, though among the Walter Scott Chardonnays I've tasted, I preferred the X Novo and CuvĂ©e Anne to this one. - HK 2021-05-27
