Sensational Syrah. Opaque purple-black color. Generous perfumed nose shows dark berry and cassis aromas topped off by black pepper, sweet spices, and smoldering oak. Very full and chewy in the mouth with just enough tannic bite to give the wine grip and length. Long, spicy, fruit-filled finish with a touch of violets. Outstanding. This wine will be excellent for some years to come. - HK 2014-09-17
